The Mind of Christ

We are living in a time of fake news, where people seem to have lost their ability to distinguish between what is right and what is wrong. You could describe this as a time of monist confusion, where there are no real distinctions because the general worldview is now that everything is one, so good and evil are really just sides to the same thing, depending upon the way each person looks at things. Ultimately this results in the belief that some have expressed that Hitler is in heaven. His deeds were not evil, they were mistakes, and everyone makes mistakes, right? But six million mistakes!

This confusion stems from the ultimate pagan belief that God and creation are the same, and this kind of thinking is now in the church. Thus so-called “Christians” in Union Seminary in New York were praying to potted plants set up in the sanctuary, and the United Presbyterian Church of Binghamton, NY, hosted an image of the Slavic “Sviatovid idol,” a ninth-century deity of war, fertility, and abundance as part of its September 6-7 festival of lights. This is not light. It is deep darkness.

The truthxchange symposium of January 31-February 1, 2020 to be held in First Presbyterian Church, Columbia, SC, entitled The Mind of Christ: Taking Every Thought Captive, seeks to bring light to our confused world. Speakers include Dr. Rosaria Butterfield, Mrs. Pam Frost, Drs. Peter Jones, Brian Mattson and Gabe Fluhrer who will speak on a variety of subjects like sexuality, self-identity, the family, genuine spirituality, and clear biblical reasoning.  People need to hear, like never before, that the Bible makes sense of life and brings genuine flourishing to human existence.
