The Significance of the Incarnation

Christmas is the time of gift-giving. The Incarnation is the time of the greatest gift ever given in the history of the universe. God, the Creator of the Universe, who is ultimately unknowable, gave to human beings the good gift of being part of the creation, and now gives himself in the person of his Son order to reveal himself as the Redeemer of sinful creatures. This is the deep mystery of the Incarnation.
