Christians can be seduced by this thinking, especially phrases from Sr. Delio, like: "Christianity is about future, not salvation as an end in itself or heaven or eternal life- but new life.” Alas, this “new life” has nothing to do with the rescue of sinners and the creation from death through the atoning work of Jesus, who, because of this, now reigns as Lord of the cosmos. How easily Christians are falling for the spiritual optimism of the “evolutionaries” who reject God the creator and worship themselves and creation as divine, just the latest form of pagan Oneism.

How Will it End?

This morning Al Mohler noted the disappearance from the public discourse of any moral considerations regarding homosexuality, though he noted that all our laws have a moral foundation. In such a culture in future days, it will doubtless be illegal to preach the Gospel because of the discomfort it raises about our sinful state. We will claim the right to be free and safe from hearing about the Fall and about our desperate need of a Savior.

Letter to a Homosexual Friend

Because I believe how valuable you are, as a Christian I must say to you, out of deep respect for you and a concern for your future, that as a homo- sexual you are engaging in a sexual practice that is contrary to the design that God the Creator intended for you. Please understand that these things are not easy for Christians to say. These are not my ideas. We are all dependent on higher authority for issues of this nature. Of course, in the present climate, it’s easier not to say them, because if we do, we risk being accused of hate speech.
