God’s picture of his love for the church was knit into the male/female love relationship of the first man and woman. Separate and different, they were placed in an ordained and indissoluble marriage. From the start, God placed this physical, emotional and spiritual picture into the world as a constant reflection of his image, demonstrating to us both the differentiation of the persons of the Trinity (distinct persons with differing roles, yet one in nature) and the unbreakable love relationship between Christ and his church.
The Twoist historic biblical faith celebrates the representative ideological importance of heterosexuality. In the beginning, reflecting God’s Trinitarian image of difference in unity, human beings were made male and female (Gen 1:27-8), and that structure mirrored the Twoist “mystery” of Christ’s redeeming love for his bride, the church (Eph 5:32). There is no appeal to “icky,” no incitement to hate in this argument. Biblical cosmology brings light to the discussion and, in God’s grace, prepares hearts for conversion and life-changing behavior. As the Apostle Paul said, “And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.” 1 Corinthians 6:11
The vacuous marriage sacrament of the “Grammys religion” and its further trivialization as an entertainment stunt, only underlines the spiritually empty gospel that Tinsel Town and its beautiful people were pushing, unopposed, into the homes of people who pay these artists their inflated salaries. There is no competing message, no other opinion allowed from other artists, no apparent way for so many to hear the truth. This is a formula for cultural collapse.

When Adam and Eve failed by refusing to trust their future to the word of their Maker, the rightful Twoist structure of God and the creation became a cosmic war, between the forces of evil and the promised seed of the woman. Through further insignificant elements--the individual Abraham, the tiny nation of Israel, the 300 under Gideon, and finally though this newly-born baby in a food trough in around 2BC, God was working his plan of redemption, though in seemingly unimpressive ways. Since the project had gone south, through the failure of human beings at a significant moment in history, there was no “joy from the world,” only the funeral dirge of human failure. In all honesty, we need help from the outside, from the divine Other, from the new Adam who paid the price of human sin by bearing its punishment on a small hill outside Jerusalem.
