Jeremiah said of ancient Israel: “Are they ashamed of their loathsome conduct? No, they have no shame at all; they do not even know how to blush” (Jeremiah 8:12). Since the Sixties, pagan religion has permeated our thinking in once-Christian Western society. Those who remember the days when our moral principles were generally based on […]
20. How many truths do pagans say there are? Pagans generally hold that there is one basic truth or reality behind all the various versions of monism out there. There is a sort of universal religion with “many paths to God.” A monist can say, without any sense of contradicting himself, that reality is all […]
When I came to the States in 1964, the great enemy of the Christian Faith was Marxism, with “Commies behind every bush.” My wife recently told me that as a child she would lie awake at night worrying that she would give up her faith when persecuted by godless Soviet commissars. In order to understand the spiritual times in which we live, we must have a solid grounding in our understanding of the cosmology of universal One-ism, which ultimately denies the value of the individual and leads to a kind of annihilation beyond the mind, and biblical Two-ism, which affirms the distinction between God and creation and affirms the infinite worth and value of individuals created in the image of God and of their minds, which are gloriously renewed and transformed through the growing knowledge of His Word. Let’s be spiritually alert and discerning so we can graciously and effectively engage the culture with the beauty of biblical Two-ism’s salvation message of Christ’s blood atonement for sinners and let us pray in genuine concern and love for those caught in the web of One-ism.

Here is one very real example from a truthXchange staff member in Southern California.

Slouching To Ancient Romeby Dr. Peter Jones | August 31, 2018
I’ve just finished reading a description of how Christians were treated in ancient Rome. It was a reality check. It made me think again about Revoice’s well-meaning empathy to the gay culture. A touch of historical realism is in order. This aspect of the Revoice phenomenon must be thoughtfully examined. I believe it can only […]
