On September 30, 1938, Chamberlain [that’s Neville not Wilt] returned from Munich having granted Hitler virtually all his demands including the right to annex the Sudetenland, a large chunk of Czechoslovakia. As he walked on the tarmac he waved the agreement in the air and proclaimed “peace with honour,” and spoke of “peace in our […]
I write this newsletter from Cape Town, South Africa, a most beautiful country with enormous social problems. I have lectured in all kinds of churches here; various types of Baptist churches, some charismatic churches, independent Bible churches, and many different kinds of Anglican churches, some “in communion” with the Archbishop of Canterbury and the Anglican […]
So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in him. “Moses received the Torah from Sinai, and he delivered it to Joshua; and Joshua delivered it to the Elders; and the Elders delivered it to the Prophets; and the Prophets delivered it to the men of the Great Synagogue. These […]
National Public Radio is doubtless the most irritating and probably the most intelligent radio programming in America. It certainly got my Christmas off to a weird start. On the evening of December 21, 1996 NPR broadcast live from the pseudo-Christian neo-pagan Cathedral of Saint John the Divine via two hundred local and willing radio stations throughout the USA, the seventeenth annual Celebration of the Winter Solstice. The two hour concert was paid for, in part, by tax dollars from the NEA, both an example of pagan Church and State working harmoniously together, and a disturbing harbinger of the future.

(Audio Lecture) Identity from Within or from the Mind of Christby Joshua Gielow | April 17, 2020
Dr. Butterfield gives a brilliant analysis of how Christ delivers people caught in the practice of homosexuality, by putting to death the works of the flesh, including the attempt falsely to justify “celibate” homosexual desire as pleasing to God, and by embracing God’s creational truth for his glory and our good. The culture’s definition of […]
Shifting Sandsby Dr. Peter Jones | April 10, 2020
“Lord, what are you saying during this crisis?” That is the question on every Christian’s mind. The mighty, miniscule virus is slaying thousands every day. On March 29th, Dr. Anthony Fauci estimated that the US might see between 100,000 and 200,000 deaths before the crisis fades. Christians must yet remain calm, asking God to give us […]
An Elephant Called Fearby Rebecca Jones | April 8, 2020
But if we are to chase the elephant of fear out of our churches, we must allow God to face it down through the power of his love. “God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but of love, of power, and of a strong mind” (2 Timothy 1:7). If we are to face down the elephant of fear, we must do it by absorbing God’s forgiveness. “Perfect love casts out fear, because fear has to do with punishment” (1 John 4:18).
Spirituality: Mindfulness or the Mind of Christby Joshua Gielow | March 23, 2020
Mrs. Pamela Frost gives a most useful and dense comparative contrast between pagan “Mindfulness” and “the Mind of Christ,” showing clearly how the Mind of Christ distinguishes between the Creator and creation, while Mindfulness blurs distinctions and leads people into the pagan lie of “nonduality.” Eastern spiritualties work against having our minds set on Christ. The […]
